As our school is a Catholic school, we teach the Alive-O Religious Education programme. We also prepare pupils who wish to receive the Sacraments. Pupils in Second Class are prepared for the Sacraments of Reconciliation (Penance) and First Holy Communion and pupils in Sixth Class are prepared for the Sacrament of Confirmation. Parents of pupils preparing for the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion are involved in the Do this in Memory of Me programme.

Our school implements the Revised Primary School Curriculum (Department of Education and Science 1999).

The areas covered are as follows:

• Languages: Gaeilge, English, French*

• Mathematics

• Social, Environmental and Scientific Studies (SESE) - History, Geography and Science

• Social, Personal and Health Education (SPHE)

• Music

* Pupils in our 5th and 6th Classes are given the opportunity to learn French.

Informations and Communications Technology is an important aspect of our school's curriculum and is used as a tool in many curricular areas.
